BPRC Star Party On The Prairie

Step into an unforgettable evening under our Texas sky at Blackland Prairie Raptor Center’s Star Party on the Prairie where science, nature, and wonder collide.

Featuring telescopes and experts from the Texas Astronomical Society of Dallas, and a special constellation presentation by The Frontiers of Flight Museum.  

Surrounded by the peaceful prairie and glowing constellations above, this family-friendly evening is perfect for curious kids, space lovers, and anyone who wants to experience the magic of the universe in a truly unique setting.

All ticket sales directly support the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. As a small, self-sustaining nonprofit, events like this – and the generosity of friends like you – help us care for our raptors, protect the Blackland Prairie, and offer educational programs for families. A Note About Weather:
Because this is an outdoor experience, the event may be postponed if we’re experiencing heavy rain or lightning at the scheduled time. If that happens, you’ll be able to join us on the new date or use your ticket for a future First Saturday event. If neither option works, please consider your ticket a donation to BPRC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Federal Tax ID: 20-1305421). Your support means so much.
