Event Details

We will be learning about Migration on October 1st at our Park.  There will be educational stations, Guided Prairie walks, and a live raptor presentation. 

We open BPRC’s park gates from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

The Live Bird program will start at 11:00 and lasts around 1 hour

Admission is $10.00 for adults $5.00 for kids 3-12 and kids under 3 get in for free

Third Saturday, October 15th (no live raptors)

Beginners Birdwalk and guided trail walks at Brockdale park. Join us for a leisure walk through our prairie, woods and by Lavon Lake to see what birds might be migrating through and find local residents. Birdwalk starts at 8am but come earlier to walk the prairie trails with our Master Naturalist guides. Bring your binoculars and water! Gate is on left at the 90 degree turn in road by our sign before you get to 1625 Brockdale Park Road. (No live raptors)

We open BPRC’s park gates from 6:30 am – 12:00 pm.

The bird walk is from 8 am – 9 am.  The prairie walks are at 9 am and 11 am.

No pre-registration necessary – just show up!  This is a free experience. (No live raptors)
