Our Partners

Blackland Prairie Raptor Center gratefully acknowledges the support of our partners who enable us to carry out our mission. We encourage you to support them.

EarthShare of Texas

The Blackland Raptor Center is a member of EarthShare of Texas. EarthShare of Texas is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation committed to making environmental support as easy as possible by giving working people the ability to donate through workplace payroll contribution campaigns. EarthShare of Texas represents more than 70 of the leading local, state, national and international conservation and environmental organizations working to preserve and protect our natural resources and human health in public and private workplace giving campaigns throughout the state.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

In 2007 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers partnered with BPRC to lease the property known as Brockdale Park. It is the 66 acre facility we have developed into a park for education outreach and events as well as a hospital for injured, sick, and orphaned birds of prey. Their continued support allows us to expand our capabilities to the people of Texas.

Texas Master Naturalists

The Texas Master Naturalist Program’s mission is to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities for the State of Texas.

Reliant EcoShareSM

The Blackland Raptor Center is happy to be a beneficiary of The Reliant EcoShareSM service, a way that Texans can support The Blackland Raptor Center and offset their own carbon production at the same time. Reliant and EarthShare of Texas have launched a program that allows Reliant customers to help reduce their carbon footprints through the purchase of carbon offsets. And for each customer-purchased offset, Reliant will make a contribution to EarthShare of Texas and its participating organizations including Blackland Raptor Center.

H-E-B

Since 2007, H-E-B has selected EarthShare of Texas as the beneficiary of Tear-off campaign for the month of April. The Tear Pad Program allows H-E-B and Central Market shoppers all over Texas to add $1, $3 or $5 to their grocery bill. The money raised in this way is donated to EarthShare of Texas and distributed to its participating organizations including the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center.

Kroger Community Rewards Program

The Kroger Family of Companies has set up this corporate fundraising program to make donating to local organizations easy by basing it on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Shopper’s Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Card to donate to that organization. Once logged into your Kroger account you can search for BLACKLAND PRAIRIE RAPTOR CENTER either by name or EF028 and then click Enroll.

Prairie and Timbers Audubon Society

Prairie and Timbers Audubon Society is a certified National Audubon Society chapter located in McKinney, Texas. PTAS activities feature monthly education programs, birding field trips, and supporting North Texas avian and environmental organizations. PTAS has awarded BPRC many grants towards bird habitat and raptor conservation as well as service projects on our prairie.

Accenture

Accenture is a leading global professional services company, providing a broad range of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations.
