First Saturdays at BPRC

On the First Saturday of each month, Blackland Prairie Raptor Center hosts its First Saturday event.  Visitors will enjoy themed family-friendly hands-on activities and games, a live raptor program and guided trail walks.

Live Raptor Program at 10:00 AM

Pre-purchased Ticket Cost: $15 per adult; $10 per child (13 & under)
Ticket at the Event: $20 per adult; $15 per child (13 & under)
*Age 3 and under are free

Backstage Experience Add-on Option

Gather at our welcome building after the live bird show at 11:30 am and enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our facility.  Walk through the prairie and learn about the conservation efforts occurring daily by our prairie team.  Visit our Education Building to see how we house, care for, and train our education ambassadors.  Then, learn what goes into our rehabilitation clinic, a veterinary hospital that intakes 600-800 injured and orphaned birds of prey each year.

Price: $50/person

*Note: Tickets are for one individual.  Please ensure all attending members in your group get a ticket.
