Found an Injured Raptor?
Call us at 469-964-9696
What to do if an injured raptor is found, but we are not open:
- Contain the bird in a secure cardboard box with air holes or plastic dog kennel.
- Keep the bird in a warm, dark, quiet area – like a spare bedroom, closet, bathroom, etc.
- Do not check on the bird as this may stress it out and cause more harm than good
- Leave a message with our rehab team (choose option 1), so they are aware of the patient and call the rehab team at 9am to coordinate transport
If you have any questions about raptor rehabilitation of a specific patient you have brought to us or have found an injured raptor, please call us at 469-964-9696.
