Field Trip Experience
Join us at BPRC for a great day of education. This event includes a raptor presentation, guided trail hike through the native Blackland Prairie, and interactive age-appropriate educational activities.
Each field trip is a customized experience for your students, designed by your team and our educators.
Field Trip Options
Standard Day
3 hours including 30 minute lunch break
- Meet Live Raptors in amphitheater seating, learning form and function concepts. Interactive Ambassador experience with open Q&A.
- Nature hike through the Blackland Prairie showcasing seasonal highlights
- 3 hours (includes 30 min for lunch)
- Minimum # required: 25 students
- $17/person for up to 50 students
- Discounted $12/person for 50+ students
- No additional fee for teachers; $12/Chaperone
Enhanced Day
3.5 hours including 30 minute lunch break
- Standard Day package, plus;
- Additional customized grade level and TEKS-aligned fun activity using national program curriculum. Activity can be aligned to support current classroom study.

Premium Experience
Standard or Enhanced Day package, plus:
- Pre or Post Field Trip access to the Agents of Discovery app in the classroom for a specified time. Agents of Discovery is a digital education platform connecting students to nature and technology. Agents of Discovery engages the player/classroom with fun mission using various styles of challenges and rewards.

Add-On Options

Owl Pellets
- Pellets are the undigested parts of a bird’s food, such as hair or bones, which are regurgitated (coughed up through the beak)
- Kids can study them to learn more about the owl and the ecosystems in which they live
- During the dissection, they can see and identify the tiny bones from that owl’s meal, can learn about the owl’s diet and place in the food web
- Available seasonally
- Price = $4/pellet
