Raptor Photo Days at BPRC
Six times a year the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center hosts Raptor Photo Days, unique events where registered participants can photograph our avian ambassadors up close. Our event is scheduled to begin just before sunrise for optimal lighting and lasts for 2 hours. Raptors will be perched in natural settings to create fantastic photo opportunities.
Registration is limited to 25 participants per Photo Day
$75/photographer (Pre-Registration Required)
Registration fees support the care and training of our avian ambassadors
Starts 30 minutes prior to sunrise and last for 2 hours

Raptor Photo Shoot
Have a group of photographers that are nature enthusiasts? Schedule a photo shoot with BPRC as a group event! We will have multiple raptors available for you to photograph.
Information:
- Includes: 2 hours with birds
- Raptors will be either “on hand” or tethered and perched
- Get as close at 6’ from the raptors
- Can use tripods or monopods
- Minimum # required: 10
- Price = $300
- Option to add additional hours of park use (NO birds will be present) for $50/hr
