On the First Saturday of each month, Blackland Prairie Raptor Center hosts its First Saturday event. Visitors will enjoy themed family-friendly hands on activities and games, a live raptor program and guided trail walks. August’s theme is: MISSISSIPPI KITES! Learn about how these amazing raptors migrate from as far south as Argentina all the way to Texas and neighboring states. Find ways you can help these magnificent creatures while they spend their summer alongside us in our Texas neighborhoods!
