Track Raptor Patients
Would you like to know what is going on with a bird that was brought into the Raptor Center? You can track any patient using our online medical record system, RaptorMed. RaptorMed, developed by Dr. Dave Scott at the Carolina Raptor Center in Charlotte, has been in use for more than 10 years. This case management system allows our organization to be fully transparent with the public and share each step in a patient’s treatment plan.

The Blackland Prairie Raptor Center treats sick, injured, and orphaned birds of prey 365 days per year. Our Raptor Hotline accepts calls from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily. We check our voicemails often. Please leave us a message if you’re unable to reach us and we’ll return your call as soon as possible.
If you have an injured animal or other type of bird, you can find a wildlife rehabilitator in your area by visiting the Texas Park and Wildlife Rehabilitation website.
